Opportunities
Fabrica may be looking for you
Fabrica – one of the South East’s most talked about galleries – is looking new Trustees to join for a minimum two-year term.
Fabrica is run by a small Board of Trustees, a dozen part-time staff, freelance contractors and more than 40 volunteers. We organise three major exhibitions per year and a programme of activities involving artists, gallery visitors, families, schools, colleges, universities and community groups. We run the Artist Resource (an advice and information service for working artists) and a volunteer and work placement scheme. Between exhibitions we rent out the gallery for income-generating parties and events. There’s never a dull moment!
Our two new Trustees will have a keen interest in the visual arts and experience in one or more of the following: commercial business development, financial management, marketing, public and media relations and donor development.
In return for your time and expertise, we can offer you the experience of being part of a dynamic organisation, committed to providing both emerging and established international artists with opportunities to make and show work, building new audiences for the contemporary visual arts and developing relationships that help us to increase our reach and impact.
