Since 2012, Fabrica’s Making Space residency programme has been a lifeline for artists in need of affordable and flexible creative spaces. In a city where studio costs are high and opportunities are scarce, Making Space offers something truly special: four days of dedicated access to Fabrica’s main space, tailored production support from our team, and the freedom to focus on work in progress without the pressure of a public exhibition deadline.

Over the years, we’ve supported more than 45 artists and artist groups across diverse disciplines and media. These residencies have nurtured bold ideas, sparked artistic growth, and allowed creative visions to thrive in an environment designed for experimentation.

This Christmas, we’re asking you to join us in championing creativity. Your support will help us:
