Events & Talks (10 November 2024, 1.00pm - 2.00pm)
Discover stories of local families and their sons, brothers and fathers who served and fell in WWI, with a focus on those who served in the Royal Sussex Regiment and fell at Boars Head.

Volunteer tour leaders, Lucy and Colette, will introduce you to some of the names featured on the commemorative plaque which is housed in its original setting within Fabrica’s historic church building.

Suitable for all ages, this is an accessible tour on a site with a ramp entrance and disabled access loos. Please let us know if you have any access requirements and we will try our best to accommodate you. For more information please see our Plan Your Visit page.

Presented as part of Past:Present:Future, a Heritage Lottery funded project in which we made a book about the history of our 200 year old building, and presented a series of events and materials as part of this learning, and inspired by The Boys on the Plaque project.
