Fabrica is taking part in the Brighton & Hove 10K for the first time! We have a limited number of spaces – we'd love you to run on behalf of our charity.
To grab one of our dedicated places, click on the ‘Fabrica Space’ ticket button. Our places are £15, and we’ll ask you to raise a target of at least £150.
How Your Fundraising Helps
Your support fuels Fabrica’s creative mental health projects, which are a lifeline for so many people across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. As the cost-of-living crisis deepens, our work is more vital than ever—helping to reduce isolation, develop resilience, and ease the pressure on health services.
Here are just some of the ways your fundraising will make an impact:
Men in Sheds: A twice-weekly, safe, and welcoming space for men with low mental health or at risk of suicide. One participant shared:
“The Shed is so welcoming and positive. It’s a great atmosphere, we laugh, talk, and support each other. It’s exactly what I need.”
Men Who Make: Reaching men with severe mental illness, offering creative activities that transform lives and build peer support networks.
“I wish I could do this more often. I’d feel less isolated and have more purpose.”
Drawing and Making: Creative workshops for people living with dementia and their carers.
Renew & Repurpose: Supporting adults experiencing extreme isolation to connect and learn new skills while repurposing unwanted furniture.
Chomp at Fabrica: Providing healthy meals and artist-led activities for low-income families during school holidays.
Your efforts are helping to create safe spaces, nurture meaningful connections, and offer opportunities for people to recover and thrive.
Let’s Aim for £150!
Raising £150 could provide art materials and refreshments for ten Drawing and Making sessions, where people with dementia and their carers can experiment creatively, share memories, and find joy in connection.

“I want to come again. I really enjoyed myself. I was feeling really depressed and then you knocked at my door. I spend lots of time in my room on my own, it’s good to have something to do.”
