We will be welcoming Philip Hoile from Bulldog Film Distribution for an industry insight into the inner workings of film distribution.

For this month's BFI Academy event we will be welcoming Philip Hoile from Bulldog Film Distribution for an industry insight into the inner workings of film distribution.


Philip Hoile will provide insight into his extensive career in the film industry as a distributor and marketeer with 17 years’ experience working across a wide range of film and entertainment projects for distributors, exhibitors, international sales companies, festivals and film culture organisations.


Bulldog Film Distribution is a Brighton-based fully independent film distributor releasing films through all media in the UK and Ireland. Their library includes a wide range of award-winning drama and genre features and documentaries including Margin Call, Possum, Tucked, Support The Girls and Hello, Bookstore.
