Returning due to popular demand the Church of Italo are thrilled to be getting medieval!
A collaborative fashion show and intimate queer disco party in one of Brighton’s most beautiful churches, Fabrica. With local queer djs bringing you Milano Ballroom, Italo Disco, House, Electronica and Techno throughout the night alongside an immersive high-fashion runway with prizes for the best dressed.
Combining Catholic excess with continental moods and the best of queer creativity, come and join us on March 21st.
Dress to impress: dress to excess. Take your inspiration this month from the holy host of Martyrs and Mystics. From the vaulted glory of high gothic, to ugly medieval cats, from saucy monks and naughty nuns to the passion of Saint Joan of Arc, join us to celebrate the best of the queer medieval!
All attendees are welcome to walk the runway to show off their looks to our very special celebrity judges and to compete for a range of fabulous prizes, including prizes for "The Best Dressed", "Best Catwalk" and "Most Holy Costume".
This is an inclusive event designed to showcase the sheer glamour of Brighton's queer community you! No discrimination will be tolerated; no racism, sexism, sizeism, homophobia or anti-trans bullsh*t. Let's show the fashion world how it’s done!
