Events & Talks
(17 August 2019, 3.00pm - 4.00pm)
This intimate discussion for a small audience brings the personal story of Tara Mary Moore into the gallery, enabling you to hear her story at firsthand and ask questions.
At 14 Tara was involved in a traffic accident which left her with a severe type of traumatic brain injury: Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI). Describing her life before and after the accident, Tara outlines the struggles she has encountered on her journey to what she describes as her ‘different normal’. Tara is working to highlight all kinds of brain injury and invisible impairment and has just completed a short autobiography.
