Let’s look and see what we find when we explore making our very own self-portraits using unexpected materials. Explore collage techniques to test texture and colour through a variety of everyday items including fabric, pom poms, pasta, lace and paper straws. This will be a fun and restorative workshop for all.

This workshop explores themes around self-image and self-expression, developed in response to Eastern Promise, an image by Sean Cham currently exhibited in the Fabrica streetside window gallery.

Parents are welcome to leave their children on site - take advantage of the surrounding shops and cafes, or take a well-earned break. If you prefer, you are also welcome to stay on site at Fabrica during the session where hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at our in-house charity cafe.
