In 2008, The New Economics Foundation developed the Five Ways to Wellbeing, a set of actions which promote personal wellbeing. They are: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.

Based on these, five older speakers share their strategies for staying vital in later life.
Vitality, derived from vita, the Latin word for life, represents our dynamic life force: our zest for living, our desire to be engaged with ideas, people, places and things, our sense of agency - it’s essential for our wellbeing.
