More than twenty years after its release, Edgar Wright's cult classic has become one of Britain's most loved films. It's endlessly quotable, packed with unforgettable characters, brilliantly constructed, and somehow gets funnier every time you watch it—even when you know every joke that's coming. All the while, we care about something deeper.

So... is it just a great comedy?

We think Shaun of the Dead shares a collection of storytelling ingredients with a handful of other films. It isn't random. Together, they create a rare category of movies that we (rather controversially) call perfect.

After the screening we'll put Shaun of the Dead through our Ten Perfect Film Criteria, then open the conversation to the room with a fun, moderated discussion led by local filmmaker (and film buff) Thomas Meadmore.
