Chomp

May Half Term Session

Workshops (27 May 2025, 10.45am - 1.30pm)
Chomp is a fun, free school holiday event aimed at children who receive free school meals during term time - but we also warmly welcome any low-income families experiencing financial hardship or social isolation during the school holidays.

Join us at Fabrica, Brighton’s friendly city-centre arts venue, for a creative, ocean-themed workshop led by artist Helen Goodwin, alongside our amazing team of volunteers. After the session, we’ll enjoy a healthy vegetarian lunch together in a warm and welcoming space.

This special Chomp event is inspired by World Oceans Day (8 June 2025), a global celebration of the sea and its vital role in our lives. With over 70% of our planet covered in water and ocean plants producing more than half the oxygen we breathe, it’s the perfect theme for a day of making, learning and connecting.
