This May half term we are screening this popular stop-motion adventure based on the classic children's book by Roald Dahl.

James and the Giant Peach / 1996 / 1hr&29mins / Rated U


The story follows an orphan boy called James forced to live with his two cruel aunts, he manages to escape from them by hiding in a gigantic, magical peach that is home to a group of odd insects. Together they journey across the Atlantic Ocean, aiming to head for New York, as James develops close friendships with each of the creatures along the way in this sweet and eccentric story.


This musical feature boasts a great cast, a highly entertaining story and is creative in its use of stop-motion and live action.
