Messy Play

Winter Wonderland

Archive Workshops (31 January 2024, 10.15am - 11.15am)
Delivered in partnership with Little Learners, Messy Play at Fabrica is a monthly 1 hour session that encourages children to explore the world through messy sensory experience, mark-making and movement in the unique setting of Fabrica.

Between January and March, Messy Play will be inspired by Fabrica's window exhibition, a huge image of Christian Jago's 'Spring' from his project “Ephemeral Bloom” (2023). Please note: there will be no session in February due to building works, but we will be back in March for a Springtime theme.

In January, we will be exploring a 'winter wonderland' through our messy play trays, paint, playdough, crafts and mark-making stations. We will be sliding across icy landscapes, scooping and pouring the sparkly rice snowflakes and making crazy soap foam snow in this exciting session, full of different textures and sensory experiences, designed and led by a qualified teacher.

Little Learners is a multi award-winning preschool company which offers educational messy play for babies to pre-schoolers (5 months to 5 years). Babies and preschool children of all abilities are welcome to attend Messy Play. If you’d like to chat about whether Messy Play is suitable for your little one please get in touch by email [email protected]

Nestled within Brighton’s historic lanes, Fabrica is a space where everyone can experience art. Located in a Grade II listed heritage building presenting a year-round calendar of film screenings, talks, group discussions and community-led events.

Come along and have some super messy wintry fun!
