Join University of Birmingham College of Social Sciences for a crucial workshop focused on the practice and service implications of the 'Why are we Stuck in Hospital' research.

This event will delve into the barriers faced by individuals with learning disabilities and/or autistic people in leaving long-stay or secure hospital settings. Attendees will gain insights from the lived experiences of patients and their families, along with practical knowledge from health and social care staff. The workshop will highlight 'ten top tips' for aiding people in transitioning from hospital care to leading more ordinary lives within the community.
