Step into a queer Jane Austen daydream.

No dance experience needed. Whether you’re brand new to dancing or a seasoned pro, you’ll be guided through each dance with clear, friendly instruction and time to practise before the music sweeps you away.

The evening takes place in the beautiful main hall at Fabrica, which will be decorated for All Hallows’ Eve. There will be a costume competition, so come in your best Gothic apparel and vote for your favourite looks. Drinks can be purchased from the bar, and the venue is fully accessible.

This event is designed to uplift the LGBTQIA+ community and provide a safe space to dance together. We are unequivocally trans-inclusive and are queering the Regency aesthetic - anyone can dance with anyone, we engage with the history through a critical lens, and we are taking back the period-drama aesthetic in a fun and camp way!

The Evening’s Festivities

Seated activities available throughout the evening: tarot readings, card games, flower arranging, socialising.

7.30pm - Doors open
Arrive early to enjoy a drink from the bar; find out your future with a mystical tarot reading; have your portrait taken by our wonderful photographer, Eros Photography.

8pm - Drag Performance

The Patron of the ball, Lord Ernest Device, will open the evening with a spooky spectacular.

8:10 - 8.40pm - Dancing (Round One)
We’ll guide you through each dance with clear instruction and a chance to practise before the music begins - no experience needed.

8.40–9pm - Intermission
Rest, mingle, and refresh at the bar.

9pm - Drag Performance

Our fabulous guest performer, Simply the Jest, will have you howling with laughter.

9.10–9.40pm - Dancing (Round Two)
More lively tunes and joyful group dancing.

9.40–10pm - Intermission

Take a pause for refreshments and community connection.

10pm - Drag Performance

The Patroness of the Revel, Lady Kit Fever, will give you chills with their stunning performance.

10:10-10:25pm - Dancing (Round Three)

An original Regency-inspired dance created for our All Hallow's Eve Gothic ball.

10:25-10:40pm - Costume Competition
Our most resplendent guests will take to the stage, with the audience deciding the evening’s most fabulous outfit.

10.40–11pm - Free Dancing

Space to bust some moves to modern Halloween classics and finish the evening with a flourish.

11pm - Carriages arrive (event close)
