Learn simple skills by assembling your item and take home your creations to decorate and enjoy. Using basic tools like a hammer and nails, you can choose to create a bird box. The workshop will be held in Fabrica’s fully accessible gallery space, providing a beautiful setting for the event.

The Ageing Well Brighton and Hove annual festival provides opportunities for people aged 50 and over explore new experiences and meet new people. The festival aims to celebrate the valuable contributions older people make to society by broadening horizons and fostering connections between people who may not otherwise have met. This year’s festival, will feature intergenerational activities and opportunities to meet and connect with people from all walks of life. Attendees will be encouraged to approach new experiences and new people with an open mind, and the festival will showcase a diverse range of life experiences and perspectives. Above all, the festival is a celebration of the joys of growing older and the unique strengths and talents that come with age.
