We’ll be thinking of masks and faces from different cultures and traditions, from the Green Man to modern-day Halloween, to inspire our creators in this unique and playful workshop. Make your very own clay mask or face and explore how to make it creepy, funny or scary with sculpting techniques as well as adding a range of natural materials that give character and texture.
We will express our ideas and imaginations while experimenting with tactile and natural materials in a safe, person-centred and supportive environment.
All creations will be transportable to take home. Aprons are provided.
Parents are welcome to leave their children on site - take advantage of the surrounding shops and cafes, or take a well-earned break. If you prefer, you are also welcome to stay on site at Fabrica during the session where hot drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at our in-house charity cafe.
